This video is from mid February and the temperature is dropping and the snow is coming. Normally this would be the tail end of our winter, but that ain’t stopping me from a silver hunt. This video is being showed out of sequence. I’m usually back logged on my videos. I need take a day or two and make a bunch of videos, but every time I have free time, I’m out detecting. Horrible cycle that prevents from doing the things I should be doing. But as the bumper sticker says, “I’d Rather Be Detecting”.
For almost all my past movies, I’ve used Windows Movie Maker to put together the video clips and pictures. And ALL my video and pictures has always been done with my what ever my current phone was at the time. I’ve recently downloaded 3 free video production makers to try out. I have 1 to 3 more with Windows Movie Maker, then I’ll try the other programs and let you know. But this video was put together on my phone using an app by ActionDirector (see watermark) . I really, really like this app and have purchased the upgrade so all future movies I make with my phone will be watermark free.
Once I get all my videos done on my desktop computer, I’m going to try and do the videos either the same day of the hunt, depending on how much I find or I’ll do one after a couple hunts. My goal is to be more current. And besides, the app is easy to use and has some nice features.
Someone on Youtube said they jealous of our non-frozen ground. And that’s because, again, my videos are back logged. So I just wanted to show that here in Portland, it does snow and yes the ground did freeze in the days to come after our snow days. Hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoy watching as many of yours as I can.
